Barrett is honored to be a part of the team here at The National K12 Ceramics Exhibition Foundation. The Foundation is an amazing opportunity for young Ceramic artists to gain exposure to the world of clay and Barrett is excited to help these artists connect to K12. Barrett graduated from the New York State College of Ceramics at Alfred University in 2002. From there, she started her teaching career at the Potters Shop & School in Needham, MA. She then went on to teach art at Epiphany Middle School in Dorchester, MA from 2003-2006; Epiphany is an inner city school servicing low income families in the city of Boston. Barrett currently teaches Ceramics at St. Sebastian’s School in Needham, MA where she has been since 2012.
