| Description: | This pot was thrown using Cone 10 Laguna B-Mix clay, which is very similar to porcelain. Once the pot was leather hard, the horizontal lines were carved into the sides of the pot with a simple loop tool. Then red terra sigillata was applied and polished on all of the raised surfaces of the pot. Then the pot was pit fired in an old electric kiln. |
