Title: | Destroyed Ecosystems |
Description: | This piece is about the oil spills that have caused severe harm to the ocean ecosystem and the coral reefs especially. The white corals that are sculpted in this piece represent the death of a coral, since corals turn white and lose their beautiful colors when they die. It has a blanket of black acrylic paint dripped over the sculpted corals to represent the awful oil spills that coat our reefs and ocean floors killing and harming the ocean ecosystem. With this piece I hope to spread awareness about these oil spills and create change to save our oceans. |
