The students will cut a rounded slab of paper clay and loosely form it like a basket tilted slightly on its side with uneven folded edges, simulating a recess in a tide pool where the sea life hang out. They will form clay into various fish, creatures, shells, and plant life. These will be arranged and joined to the "tide Pool" in a creative way using slip and scoring techniques.
