Description: What started out as a large vertical wheel based vessel changed course due to a fire at our school that produced alot of smoke damage- This vase was disturbed when workers went through the studio and bumped the edges of the pot . The student decided to rethink the form and work the accident into the final shape of the piece. Exterior decoration was incised then colored with mason stains and clear glaze. Interior of vessel is a combination of shop oxides to produce black.
