FOUNDER / PRESIDENT - By the honor of serving as president of k12clay, I get to do the work I want to do regardless of pay. This is a good thing since none of us here are paid a penny for our work. But we get to work with a great team and over the last 25 years our team has surpassed all early dreams. This foundation was created to support the national k - 12clay exhibition and now we have a scholarship fund. We created k12clay to showcase the best teaching and the best student work in the United States each year. Serving here I get to use my 40 plus years as a classroom teacher in New Jersey, experience as a ceramic artist, potter and non-profit volunteer inform our work together. We stage this national k-12 show annually while striving to make it permanent for students and teachers of the future
